We came....we saw....East Lansing will never be the same.....

Thats right....after back to back East Lansing shows at Harpers and then Ricks, MSU students definately showed us where the party was this past weekend. The dance floor was packed at both bars all night long, and along with the help of DJ J. Shep on Saturday at Ricks, we kept the party going until they kicked us out! We will be in East Lansing TWICE a month for the next few months, so be sure to come out and see what all the hype is about. If East Lansing is too far, we have lots of shows coming up closer to home like Novi, Shelby Twp, and Clarkston. Check out our upcoming shows page for all of our dates. Thats all for now, so until next time.......keep rockin'!!

And the beat was never the same...

Hello everyone out there on the internetz - Kevin Severance here, new drummer for Collision Six.  Just joined the band about a month ago, already had the inaugural show on New Year's Eve at Hamlin Pub Shelby Twp. that went off the hook and without a hitch.  I'm very excited to be a member of this outfit and can't wait for the many shows we've got scheduled for the coming months.  If you haven't seen us or if it's been a while, check out the schedule and come hang out at one of our next shows!!!  I've been hard at work getting up to speed and the shows are only bound to get better.  Hope to see you soon!

And the winner is....

Ladies and gentlemen.  Friends, family, lovers and friends.  Collision Six would like to introduce....

KEVIN SEVERANCE - DRUMMER EXTRAORDINAIRE

Kevin has been teaching drums for several years, and recently decided to bring his expertise to Collision Six.   Kevin threw himself into the mix very quickly, cramming a bunch of practices into 2 weeks to be ready for New Years Eve!  He played his first show with us in an appropriate way - bringing in 2010 and ushering in a new era for the band.  WIthout a doubt, 2010 promises to be a fun year.  Here are a couple highlights:

* We're going to be playing on the east side in 2010.  Hamlin Pub has welcomed us with open arms and will become a regular venue for us in 2010.  We've had tremendous support on the east side in recent months and we're looking forward to spending more time with our new friends.

* East Lansing will be rocked TWICE per month.  That's right, we're playing at Rick's and Harper's now.  Check our calendar for the full list, but we'll be in East Lansing 2-3x per month for all of spring semester.  Keep on rockin, MSU!

* Check back with us about planning your C6 vacation!  This summer, we will be rocking Horn's Bar on Mackinac Island...TWICE!  Last year, this was an awesome time.  The island is great, and has great sight-seeing and relaxation opportunities.  We'll be bopping around the island all day (watch out for speeding bicycles), and then you can come hang out with the band at the bar Fri and Sat nights at Horn's.  We'll send out an announcement once we finalize dates.

* Collision Six may be coming to a wedding near you!  Are you interested in having an energetic, fun, rock and roll band at your wedding or corporate party?  Collision Six is partnering with Lorio Ross Sterling Entertainment (www.lorioross.com) to begin working the corporate/wedding circuit.  Don't worry! We won't be doing that stuff every weekend, but we will be providing our unique brand of cover music to a new scene this year.  Let us know if you're interested in playing your event.

For now, that seems like a good amount of things to be excited for, but there will definitely be more.  We look forward to seeing you all soon and wish everyone a great 2010!

It's great to be back...!

I am back in business, after a long haul, it seems that I have finally conquered the beast! (the pneumonia that is)     We had some great shows this weekend.  Thanks to everyone who packed Hamlin Pub in Shelby Twp on Friday night.   Unfortunately, Kerry was feeling under the weather, but he toughed it out and managed to do an awesome job.
Kerry was greatly missed on Saturday.  It was my first show without a wingman in almost two years, I was actualy a bit nervous!  Thank goodness for the craziness of those spartans in East Lansing.  Ricks was packed with bar crawls, 21st birthday celebrations, and ugly sweater parties.  The Nursing bar crawl danced the night away in front of the stage and kept me company all night.  Special shout out to my bff's lil' sis', Kim, hope you had an awesome 21st--enjoy the e.l. bar scene!

Until next time...keep rockin'

Happy Thanksgiving

Turkey came and turkey went, and with it passed another exciting Collision Six event.  We played at Lucky Strike in Novi on Wed, Nov 25.  The show was a lot of fun - thanks to those of you that came out to see us play.

The past couple weeks have been interesting for Collision Six.  We played our first show in a long time without Sarah on stage with us, and then followed it up with a couple shows with a pretty sick Sarah doing her absolute best to sing and avoid dying right there on the stage.  Who knew that pneumonia could affect your signing?  Seriously, though, she did a great job and is resting and preparing for another round this weekend.

Hopefully all of you had a restful holiday weekend and are still coming off the high of the season of giving thanks - either that or the tryptophan in the turkey.  We're looking forward to an exciting holiday season.  We have shows coming up at Hamlin Pub, Rick's and Cheli's Chili.  We're also working out the details for playing an awesome party on NYE.

Let us know if you're interested in partying with c6 for NYE - and we'll get you the information.

Be good.
